IBBL holds clients'get-together, discussion

Establishment of Islamic banking and financial systems has become essential in the present world as the transparency and accountability of such banking is being felt by all.
Chairman of the Executive Committee of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) Mominul Islam Patwary made the observation while speaking as the chief guest at a clients' get-together and discussion meeting in the city Tuesday.
The meeting was organised on the occasion of shifting of the Darus Salam branch of the bank in the city.
The chief guest said the IBBL is always prompt and determined to give the best possible service to clients.
As the pioneer of welfare-oriented banking, the IBBL gives priority to the customers' satisfaction through all kinds of modem facilities, he pointed out.
Executive Vice President and Head of Dhaka Central Zone of the bank Md Abul Bashar presided over the meeting, while Executive President M Fariduddin Ahmad was present as the special guest.
In his address, the special guest said the Islamic banking is proceeding faster than the conventional banks. He also called upon the clients to understand and abide by the principles of Shari'ah.
Assistant Vice President and Manager of the branch Farid Ahmad delivered the address of welcome.
