IBBL holds confce on business strategy

Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) is for all irrespective of religion, colour and creed. The aim of Islami Bank is to present Islamic banking through its service in such a way that people can realise that IsIami Bank is 'My Bank' and the bank of general people.
IBBL Chairman Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher said this at a daylong conference on 'Business management strategy and implementation of business plan for July-December 2008' at Samarai Convention Centre in the city Friday.
IBBL Vice Chairman Moulana Zainul Abedin inaugurated the conference. Managing Director M Fariduddin Ahmad presided over of the inaugural session.
Audit Committee Chairman Kazi Harun-ar-Rashed, Director Md Eskander Ali Khan and Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Shamsul Haque also spoke on the occasion.
Top executives, zonal heads, branch managers and deputy managing directors Mohammad Abdul Mannan and Md Habibur Rahman attended the programme, among others.
Abduz Zaher also said Islami Bank performs with such a team of honest incumbents who are involved in the work of implementation of Islami economics and banking system. They are upholding this as the only way to ensure welfare.
He urged all concerned to build up competent manpower with a strong ethical value.
