IBBL holds meeting on 'Business Promotion'

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) organised a day-long meeting on 'Business Promotion' at a city hotel Tuesday.
IBBL Chairman Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher was the chief guest.
Addressing the programme, he urged the branch incumbents to explore new investment fields and invest there for the economic dcvelopment of the country.
He said customer service should be improved in order to sustain the success achieved so far.

He called upon the officials to receive the best training course in the light of globalization for serving the purpose.
Executive Committee Chairman Mominul Islam Patwary inaugurated the meeting. IBBL Managing Director M Fariduddin Ahmad presided.
Audit Committee Chairman Kazi Harun-al-Rashed, Shari'ah Council Member Secretary Abu Bakr Rafique, directors Shamsul Haque, Mohammad Abdul Mannan and Md Habibur Rahman, deputy managing directors Eskander Ali Khalil and MA Motaleb Chowdhury, top executives and managers of different branches were present on the occasion.
The chairman said fund should be invested in the specified branch where the fund is deposited. Small investments should be conducted in tandem with big investments.
He called upon the managers to work for economic development of the country with more prudence and responsibility.
Managing Director M Fariduddin Ahmad said we have to acquire the highest professional qualities through hard work and supreme sacrifice.
"We must achieve the capability to solve all the problems with efficiency and acceptance raised in the way of banking transaction," he said.
