IBBL holds meeting with panel lawyers ***

Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) organised a meeting with the newly appointed panel lawyers of the bank on the occasion of their joining the office in the city recently, said a press statement. IBBL Managing Director Mohammad Abdul Mannan was present at the meeting as the chief guest. Presided over by Deputy Managing Director (Investment Wing) Md Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director Syed Abdullah Mohammad Saleh, executive vice presidents Md Rafi Ahmed Begh and Md Rafiqul Islam as well as Senior Vice President Abu Reza Mohammad Yeahya of the bank attended the occasion. Mohammad Abdul Mannan said the welfare of human being is the main objective of IBBL, adding that the bank was established to ensure distributive justice by development of fate of the common people. The IBBL MD said, "We are not working to fulfill greed of any person rather than establishing welfare-oriented and need-based banking". He said that lawyers help the bank to realise the bad loans. He called upon newly enlisted 100 lawyers to help establish Islamic banking by providing legal advice.
