IBBL holds w'shop on balance sheet

Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) held a workshop on 'Balance Sheet for the Members of Shariah Council and Muraquibs of the Bank' at the auditorium of Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA) in the city Tuesday.
IBTRA organised the workshop, said a press release.
Vice-Chairman of the bank Moulana Zainul Abedin was present in the workshop as the chief guest while Nazir Ahmed, chairman of IBTRA's academic council, was present as the special guest on the occasion.
Presided over by Md Zafar Ullah, director general of IBTRA, the workshop was addressed, among others, by Mufti Shamsuddin (Zia), Muhaddis at Al-Jamiatul Islamia, Patiya, Chittagong, ASM Toriqul Islam, associate professor of the Islami University, Kushtia, and Md Shamsul Huda, senior vice-president of Shari'ah Council Secretariat of the bank.
