IBBL, IBF help flood-hit people

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) and Islami Bank Foundation (IBF) are continuing their relief distribution in the country's various flood-affected areas.
Pabna, Faridpur and Takerhat branches of IBBL and Pabna branch of IBF recently distributed foods, cloths and medicines among the flood-hit people of these areas.
Relief materials were distributed among 500 flood-hit families by IBF Pabna branch. Md Bazlur Rahaman, upazila project officer, Mohammad Ali, Bichalan union parishad chairman, and Ramjan Ali Zehadi, a social worker, were present during the relief distribution programme in various villages of Chatmohor, Faridpur and Vangura.
Besides, relief goods were distributed among 312 families in Faridpur by IBBL Faridpur branch. Chaired by Safar Uddin, assistant vice president and manager, Faridpur branch, the programme was attended by Abdut Tawab, principal of Government Yasin College, as the chief guest.
IBBL Takerhat branch also distributed relief materials among the flood-affected people of five unions of the area. Gazi Rejaul Karim, upazila nirbahi officer of Rajoir, and Md Nuruzzaman Hawlader, Takerhat branch manager, were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, IBF Pabna branch distributed relief goods among 350 flood-hit people in the district. Yamin Ali Molla, vice-president and manager of Pabna branch, was present as the chief guest of the relief distribution programme.
