IBBL launches VISA Debit Card

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has launched its next generation VISA Debit Card.
Bangladesh Bank Executive Director Dasgupta Asim Kumar inaugurated the card as the chief guest at a programme at a city hotel with IBBL Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Abdul Mannan in the chair Wednesday.
Bangladesh Bank General Manager KM Abdul Wadood and Uttam Nayak, Group Country Manager, India and South Asia, VISA also spoke as special guests.
Dasgupta Asim Kumar said Bangladesh has achieved a tremendous success in technology-based modern banking within a short span of time. In line with the developed country, commercial banks in Bangladesh are introducing electronic modern banking products for their customers, accofding to a news agency.
