IBBL opens 186th branch at Dewanhat

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) opened its 186th branch at Dewanhat in Chittagong Sunday.
Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) President Saifuzzaman Chowdhury was present on the occasion as the chief guest, and Mohammad Kutub Uddin was the special guest.
Presided over by IBBL Director Md Eskander Ali Khan, the function was addressed, among others, by Executive President M Fariduddin Ahmad and Executive Vice-President and Zonal Head of Chittagong Abul Hossain.
Emdadul Hoque, ANM Nurul Karim and Niajur Rahman among the local personalities also spoke at the function.
The CCCI president said, IBBL should be spread to the country's grassroots level and innovate newer products to sustain its continuation of success as well as the support of people.
Eskander Ali Khan said, IBBL is trying its best to reach the mass people.
On the occasion of inauguration of the branch, a seminar on 'Islamic Economics and Banking' was organised at the bank premises Saturday. IBBL Shari'ah Council Member Secretary and International Islamic University Chittagong Pro-Vice-Chancellor Abu Bakr Rafique was present at the seminar as the chief discussant.
Among others, AKM Abdul Kader and Abul Hossain participated in the discussion programme, presided over by M Fariduddin Ahmad.
