IBBL opens 248th branch at Banshkhali

Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) opened its 248th branch at Banshkhali in Chittagong recently, said a press release.
Jafrul Islam Chowdhury, MP, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, while IBBL Chairman Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher presided over the function.
IBBL Managing Director Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Banshkhali upazila Chairman Alamgir Kabir Chowdhury and Banshkhali municipality Mayor Kamrul Islam Hosaini, among others, attended the occasion.
A seminar on 'Islamic Economics and Banking' was also held on the occasion. The IBBL chairman attended the seminar as the chief guest, while Executive Vice President Mohammad Munirul Mowla presented the keynote paper.
The managing director and other high officials of IBBL along with some teachers of Chittagong University were present at the seminar.
