IBBL opens branches at Chachkoir, Kaliganj

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has recently inaugurated its 184th and 185th branches - at Chachkoir Bazar of Gurudaspur upazila under Natore, and at Kaliganj under Jhenidah respectively.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the Chachkoir Bazar branch a function was held at the branch premises. IBBL Executive Committee Chairman Mominul Islam Patwary was present in the function as the chief guest, and Executive Vice-President and Head of Bogra Zone Abdul Kader was present as the special guest.
The function was attended, among others, by IBBL Shari'ah Council Member and Rajshahi University Professor Shah Muhammad Habibur Rahman, Assistant Vice-President and Natore Branch Manager RHM Rafiqul Islam, and Gurudaspur Municipality Chairman Md Mashiur Rahman (Bablu).
Besides, a seminar was also held at the branch premises on the previous day. IBBL Executive President M Fariduddin Ahmad spoke at the seminar as the chief guest, and Shah Muhammad Habibur Rahman as the special guest. The function was addressed, among others, by Md Abdul Hoque, Abdul Halim and Mansur Ahmad.
On the other hand, on the occasion of the inauguration of Kaliganj branch a function was held at the branch premises. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Jhenidah Baitul Amin Bhuiyan was present in the function as the chief guest, and Kaliganj Upazila UNO Shasanka Shekhar Bhoumik was the special guest.
Presided over by IBBL Director AKMS Islam, the function was addressed, among others, by the bank's Deputy Executive President Mohammad Abdul Mannan, and Senior Vice-President and Head of Khulna Zone ABM Mufazzal Hussain.
On the occasion of inauguration of Kaliganj branch a seminar was also held at the branch premises on the previous day of the inauguration. IBBL Shari'ah Council Member and Associate Professor of Islamic University ASM Toriqul Islam was present in the seminar as the chief discussant, and Mobarakganj Sugar Mill Managing Director ATM Ashraf Ali was present as the special guest.
