IBBL re-elects Zaher chairman, Al-Rajhi, Zainul vice chairmen

Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher has been re-elected chairman and Yousif Abdulla Al-Rajhi and Zainul Abedin were re-elected vice chairmen of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited.
The election was held during the meeting of board of directors of the bank in the presence of local and foreign directors at the board room of the Bank in the city Friday.
Abduz Zaher is the chairman of Industrialists and Businessmen Welfare Foundation and the Islamic Banks Consultative Forum also, vice chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks and senior vice president of Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries. He is the managing director of Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals Industry Limited.
Zaher is a founding member of Badshah Faisal Institute, Ibn-Sina Trust, Manarat International School and College, Jamiatul Falahia, Feni, Ibn Tymia College, Jamia Quasimia, Narsingdi, Islamic Education Society, Bangladesh Islamic Centre, Tamirul Millat Madrasah, Fouad Al-Khateeb Foundation, Jamia Quasimia Madrasha. He is a syndicate member of Manarat International University of Bangladesh.
Yousif Abdulla Al Rajhi is the general manager of Al- Rajhi Company for Industry and Trade, Saudi Arabia. Earlier, he had officiated as branch manager and project finance manager in Al Rajhi Banking and Trade Investment Corporation from 1987 to 1995.
Moulana Zainul Abedin obtained Kamil Degree from Madrasah Education Board in 1970 and BA (Hons) and Masters in 1975 and 1976 respectively. He is the chairman of Bangladesh Masjid Mission, Al-Islah Trust, Tamirul Millat Trust and Islamic Education Society. He has been holding the post of Principal of Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasah for a long time.
