IBBL scheme aimed at rural dev faring well

The Rural Development Scheme of the Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has been faring well in reduction of the miseries and sufferings of the country's rural people.
IBBL Board of Directors Vice Chairman Zainul Abedin said this while speaking as the chief guest in the inaugural session of a training programme for the field officers of the Rural Development Scheme organised by the bank's training and research academy at its head office in the city Saturday.
Chaired by IBBL Executive President M Fariduddin Ahmad, the function was attended, among others, by senior vice presidents Md RafiquI Islam and Md Obaidul Haque.
In his speech Abedin called upon the field officers to encourage the investment clients in building the country side by side providing investment.
He also urged the officers to help the rural people become competent citizens of the country by making them conscious about education and health.
