IBBL signs remittance deals with UAE, Malaysian cos

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has recently signed two remittance deals with Al Ansari Exchange Establishment of UAE on instant cash and Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad of Malaysia on remittance.
IBBL Deputy Executive President Mohammad Abdul Mannan and Al Ansari Exchange Establishment Managing Director Mohammad Al Ansari signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations in UAE recently.
Also present at the signing ceremony were IBBL executive committee Chairman Mominul Islam Patwary and Al Ansari Establishment General Manager (Operations) Basir Karuppamvatil.
Another deal was signed by Abdul Mannan and Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad Executive Vice President Syed Abdul Aziz Zaylani Syed Kachik on behalf of their respective sides.
With the signing of the deals, IBBL concluded agreements on instant cash with 21 exchange houses including six exchange houses in UAE and two exchange houses in Malaysia and on remittance arrangement with 62 banks and exchange houses across the world.
IBBL has been earning foreign remittance from Bangladeshi expatriates through banking channel in the country since long.
