IBBL strikes remittance deal with Maybank of Malaysia

Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd accomplished an arrangement of remittance with Maybank of Malaysia recently.
An agreement was signed to this effect at the head office of Maybank in Kuala Lumpur.
IBBL Deputy Executive President and Head of International Banking Wing Md Habibur Rahman and Maybank's Head of Financial Institutions of International Banking Omr Awang signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The programme was attended, among others, by IBBL Vice President Md Siddiqur Rahman, Maybank Assistant Vice President and Chief of Consumer Banking Ahmed Azhar Bin Shamsuddin and Senior Relationship Manager Nurain Yatim.
Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has by now signed instant cash agreement with 71 banks and exchange houses and spot cash agreement with 42 institutions all over the globe.
