IBBL to host Iftar to 60,000 pedestrians

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has taken a month-long programme to distribute Iftar items among some 60,000 fasting pedestrians in Dhaka city during the holy month of Ramadan, according to a news agency.
IBBL Managing Director Mohammad Abdul Mannan inaugurated the programme as the chief guest Monday through distributing Iftar items at Motijheel.
AKM Abdul Malek Chowdhury and Mahbub ul Alam, Deputy Managing Directors, and Md Kamaluddin Jasim, Head of Marketing Division, were present on the occasion.
Some 2,000 packets of Iftar items were distributed among the fasting pedestrians at Shahbagh, Farmgate, Mouchak, Mohakhali and Jatrabari of the capital on the first day of the programme.
