IBCCI president off to Kolkata

India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) President and Nitol Group Chairman Abdul Matlub Ahmad left the city for Kolkata Tuesday.
During his stay in Kolkata Matlub Ahmad will join a meeting with the members of FICCI and other business leaders of India to explore the possibilities of increasing Bangladeshi export up to $1.0 billion within next three years. He will also meet a number of Indian businessmen and invite them to invest in Bangladesh.
Besides, he will discuss issues related with establishing an exclusive export processing zone (EPZ) for the Indian investors, enhance connectivity between India and Bangladesh, and facilitate technology transfer between the two countries.
After returning home, he will arrange meetings with the officials of Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Board of Investment (BOI) and ministries of finance and industry on these issues.
