IBCF for united effort to develop Islamic banking

All the members of Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF) at the 23rd meeting of the forum's task committee decided to work together for rapid development of Islamic banking and coordination about ethics and work plans.
Task committee Chairman and Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) Mohammad Abdul Mannan presided over the meeting, held at IBBL head office in the city recently.
Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Ltd MD Kazi Mashiur Rahman, Social Islami Bank Ltd MD Abu Sadek Md Sohel, Southeast Bank Ltd Senior Executive Vice President Muhammad Shahjahan, Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd Senior Executive Vice President Md Shafiul Alam, Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd Executive Vice President Md Mofazzal Hossain, Prime Bank Ltd Senior Vice President AZM Sheikhul Islam, Dhaka Bank Ltd Senior Vice President Syed Abdul Quader and ICB Islamic Bank Ltd Assistant Vice President Md Abdullah Sharif, among others, attended the meeting.
The meeting also discussed the issues of Islamic banking, syndicated investment in risk-free sectors especially in the government ones, concerted effort to train up employees, joint venture publicity and use of unique software in banking activities.
