IBF to distribute agri inputs in Sidr-hit areas

Islami Bank Foundation (IBF) will distribute seeds, fertilisers, insecticides, agricultural tools, livestock, boat for fishing and feed for fishes among Sidr-hit people under the 'Fael Khair' programme sponsored by Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
Recently, Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA) held a day-long training programme for the field officials of the 'Fael Khair' programme at IBTRA auditorium.
IBBL executive committee Chairman Mominul Islam Patwary inaugurated the training course presided over by IBTRA Executive Vice President and Director General Md Zafar Ullah.
Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) Chairman Abu Nasser-Muhammad Abduz Zaher and Islami Bank Foundation Member Secretary Mir Quasem Ali were present as the chief guest and the special guest respectively at the closing ceremony of the programme.
IBBL Executive Vice President Md Nurul Islam, senior vice presidents Md Rafiqul Islam Mahmood Ahmad, Md Obaidul Haque and Asheque Ahmed Jebal, vice presidents Md Omar Faruk Khan and Md Mahboob Alam, IBTRA Director Mizanur Rahman and Joint Director Md Saidur Rahman were also present on the occasion.
Abduz Zaher said, "Islami Bank has come forward to assist the cyclone-affected people. The programe will be conducted without any service charge and interest. We have to achieve the confidence of the people in our bank by completing the programme successfully."
