IBFB workshop on banking corruption held in Ctg

The International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB) held an advocacy workshop at Hotel Agrabad in Chittagong city Thursday, said a press release.
Industries Minister Dilip Barua was present as the chief guest in the workshop on "Reducing Corruption in Accessing Industrial Credit.
Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury, president of the IBFB, presided over the workshop. Eminent banker Khondaker Ibrahim Khaled, chairman of Krishi Bank presented a study paper on the topic. Brig Gen (Rtd) M Mofizur Rahman, executive director of IBFB, presented the IBFB research paper at the programme.
Among others, MA Salam, SVP, CCCI, Nasiruddin Chowdhury, 1st VP, BGMEA, Sakhawat Hossain, MD, Western Marine, Prof Md Sekandar Khan, VC, EDU, Noushad Ali Chowdhury, GM, BB, Alihussain Akberali, Chairman, BSRM and VP-CMCCI, AQI Chowdhury, OBE-CEO, Finlay Group and vice president CSE were present as the guest speakers. Eminent businessmen, bankers, and member of the civil society of Chittagong and Dhaka also participated in the advocacy workshop.
