IBMCH seminar on 'Laparoscopic surgery' for physicians held

Our CorrespondentbrRAJSHAHI, Sept 01 Islami Bank Medical College Hospital (IBMCH) organised a scientific seminar on Laparoscopic and Endo Uro-surgery for the physicians at IBMCH auditorium in the city Friday.brIBMCH Honorary Superintendent Dr Muhammad Jahangir presided over the seminar where the doctors discussed and learnt about various aspects of Laparoscopic and Endo Uro-surgery. brAssistant Prof of Urology, Department of Dhaka Medical College Dr Md Sohrab Hossain and General and Laparoscopic Surgeon of Dhaka Cancer Hospital Dr Abu Sayed Montu were the keynote speakers at the programme. brThe speakers discussed about Laparoscopic Surgery and showed video of operations by it.brThe speakers said, in the past Laparoscopic system was used only for removing bile stone but now it is used for a lot of complicated surgery. brIBMCH Administrative Officer ASM Mamun Shahin conducted the programme.
