Ibrahimovic seals Barcelona move

Wednesday, 29 July 2009

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a five-year contract with Barcelona to end his three-year spell at Inter Milan.
Barca have paid £40m and fellow striker Samuel Eto'o moves the other way to the Italian champions on a five-year deal and Aleksandr Hleb arrives on loan.
Ibrahimovic (27) will need treatment after fracturing a finger on his left hand in a friendly.
He said: "It feels like I'm living a dream now. It was not easy for me in the last weeks."
The deal he signed with Barcelona includes a buy-out clause of 250m euros (£216m) for the player.
"I'm not coming here to be Samuel Eto'o, I'm somebody else, somebody new, but I will try to achieve as much as Eto'o, or even more," said Ibrahimovic, who will wear the number nine shirt. -BBC
