ICAB CRC holds seminar

The Chittagong Regional Committee (CRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) organised a CPE seminar on 'changes made by the Finance Ordinance-2007' in respect of income tax and VAT for members of Chittagong region in the port city recently.
National Board of Revenue Member (Income Tax Policy) Ali Ahmed was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
The key-note paper of the seminar was presented by SK Basak, partner, Shafiq Basak and Company, chartered accountants, while MA Baree, former president, ICAB and partner of Hoda Vasi Chowdhury and Company chartered accountants, was the session chairman. AK Chowdhury, former president, ICAB and partner of Hoda Vasi Chowdhury and Company, was present on the occasion as commentator.
ICAB CRC Chairperson Yesmin Sabder Ali read out the address of welcome, while vote of thanks was given by ICAB CRC Honourary Secretary Moddassar Ahmed Siddique.
