ICAB delegation off to Geneva

A two-member delegation of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) led by its President Dr Jamaluddin Ahmed left the city Tuesday for Geneva to participate in a conference on 'Corporate Governance in the Wake of Financial Crisis: Linking Governance, Strategy and Sustainability' to be held at the UNCTAD Secretariat.
ICAB Member Council and past president Abbas Uddin Khan is the other member of the entourage.
The conference on corporate governance to be held today (Wednesday) at Geneva will be participated by the members of the board of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and different other professional bodies of Europe, which will be followed by the 27th session of intergovernmental working group of experts on ISAR (International Standards on Accounting and Reporting) on October 13-15.
