ICAB holds CPE seminar

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) organised a CPE (continuing professional education) seminar on Strengthening Accounting and Auditing Practices in the Corporate Sector (Twinning Project under the World Bank) in the city Wednesday, said a press release.
Council Member and former president of the ICAB and former deputy prime minister Jamal Uddin Ahmad FCA conducted the seminar as the session chairman.
Project Head for Bangladesh of World Bank Twinning Project Juris Reinhards presented the keynote paper on the topic.
In his paper, Juris analytically explained the importance of the project aimed at strengthening the accounting and audit practices in the corporate sector, the release added.
