ICAB holds seminar on bank audit, quality control

A seminar on Guidance For Bank Audit and Introduction of Framework for Quality Control was organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) at its auditorium in the city Thursday.
Former ICAB president and Pragati Insurance Managing Director and CEO AKM Rafiqul Islam was the chief guest of the programme.
ICAB President M Farhad Hussain, in his address of welcome, praised the main authors for their tremendous efforts in preparing a paper on a very critical issue like bank audit and framework for quality control.
He requested the members of the Institute to follow the guidance stipulated which would be very useful for the practising members.
He also referred to the framework for quality control and thanked the quality control board for publishing the framework which he said would be helpful for the members of the Institute.
