ICB Islamic Bank, ICICI Bank sign agreement

ICB Islamic Bank Limited and ICICI Bank Ltd signed an agreement at ICB Islamic Bank's head office in the city recently, said a press release.
Some high officials of both the banks including Syed Aminul Kabir, Chief Representative of ICICI Bank Ltd Bangladesh, Shah Alam Khan, Relationship Manager, ICICI Bank, Masihul Huq Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of ICB Islamic Bank, Ms Israt Jahan were present at the agreement signing ceremony.
Entering into the Clearing Account with ICICI Hong Kong will allow the banking sector to enjoy competitive advantage especially bridging the time gap between Fareast Asia and Bangladesh.
This clearing account will provide the bank with multifaceted facility using state of the art technology to process cross-border payments so that smooth flow of remittance could take place.
