ICB Securities Trading Co declares 40pc dividend

ICB Securities Trading Company Limited approved 40 per cent dividend for its shareholders for 2006-2007 out of net profit of Tk 30 million (3.00 crore) at the 7th annual general meeting (AGM).
The AGM was held in the city Sunday with its Chairman Md Jahangir Miah in the chair.
The company maintained a leading position in the transactions of securities in both the stock exchanges of the country during 2006-2007.
The company transacted securities worth over Tk 17.45 billion in the DSE and Tk 31.53 billion in the CSE during 2006-2007.
Apart from its head office in the city, ICB Securities Trading has been carrying out its trading activities by opening branches at Chittagong, Sylhet, Barisal, Rajshahi and Khulna.
To extend trading facilities to the investors of Bogra, the company is going to start its trading operations there very soon. It has a plan to open more branches in phases to provide trading facilities to the investors in other important commercial places of the country.
Company's branches located at different places have been making transactions with the DSE and the CSE directly through radio link. It has created opportunities for the investors to make their transactions directly with the stock exchanges from any branch of the company.
Chief Executive Officer of the company Kamrul Islam Asad, directors and shareholders of the company were present on the occasion.
