ICB wins certificate of appreciation of ICAB

Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) got the first position and won the certificate of appreciation in the best-published accounts and reports category of ICAB Award-2006 in the public-sector entities.
Finance Adviser AB Mirza Azizul Islam handed over the award as the chief guest.
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Faruq Ahmad Siddiqi was also present on the occasion as the special guest.
The ICB uses IAS method in its financial reports and ensures full disclosure and transparency in financial statements.
The certificate of appreciation was awarded recently as a mark of recognition of excellence in the presentation of the entity's published accounts and reports for 2006.
