ICC confce on Global Economic Recovery: Asian Perspective begins

The ICC International Conference on ‘Global Economic Recovery: Asian Perspective’ began in the city on Saturday. A good number of experts, policymakers and business leaders from across the world, including Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Unctad) Dr Mukhisa Kituyi, will attend the two-day business meet. The conference is set to have very high profile discussion by experts on harnessing Asia’s untapped potential for spurring the global economy. The National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), a world business organisation, has arranged the conference at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) and the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. President of ICC Bangladesh Mahbubur Rahman communicated the update on their preparation for holding the international event at a press briefing in the city on Wednesday, according to a news agency.
