ICCB chief off to Colombo to attend APBF Meeting

The International Chamber of Commerce - Bangladesh (ICCB) President Mahbubur Rahman will leave the city today (Monday) for Colombo, Sri Lanka to attend the three-day Asia Pacific Business Forum (APBF) Meeting 2014 scheduled to be started tomorrow (Tuesday), said a statement.
Mr Rahman will be accompanied by past president of DCCI & member of ESCAP Business Advisory Council Asif Ibrahim, member of ICCB Rizwan-ur Rahman and secretary general Ataur Rahman.
Mahbubur Rahman will moderate Plenary Session 1 : 'Connecting the Region through Trade and Investment' to be held on November 26.
The objective of APBF is to identify the challenges and opportunities for connecting business in the Asia-Pacific region, within the context of achieving inclusive and sustainable development in the region in general and the Pacific sub- region in particular.
Mahbubur Rahman is expected to return home on November 28.
