ICCB team off to Kunming

A team of the International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh flew to China on Wednesday to attend the 10th China-South Asia Forum in Kunming in Yunnan province. The three-member team, comprising ICC Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman, Vice President Rokia A Rahman and former DCCI President Asif Ibrahim left for the south-eastern Chinese city in the afternoon to join the four-day China-South Asia Business Forum which began on Wednesday. ICC Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman has been invited by the Vice Governor of Yunnan province to deliver a speech on June 12 on ‘Promote the Construction of Silk Road Economic Belt: Accelerate the Pace of Business Cooperation’. ICCB Vice President Rokia A Rahman will attend a roundtable meeting on Women Entrepreneurs while Asif Ibrahim will speak at the Seminar on “Relocation of Chinese Labour Intensive and High Tech Industries to Bangladesh”. They are expected to return home on June 14, according to a news agency.
