Iceland sees trade surplus of $45.3m in Sept

REYKJAVIK, Oct 4 (Xinhua): Iceland saw its balance of trade decrease slightly to a surplus of US$45.3 million in September from a surplus of $55.4 million in August, according to a press release issued Friday by Statistics Iceland.
Preliminary figures show the value of exported goods amounted to $449.9 million (freight on board or FOB) while the value of imported goods amounted to 404.6 million FOB in September, the press release said.
Both figures increased $30.2 million and $40.3 million respectively when compared with August.
