ICMAB holds AGM, nat'l council polls

The 36th annual general meeting (AGM) of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) was held in the city recently.
President of the Institute Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed presided over the meeting, said a press release.
Secretary of the Institute Mohammed Salim presented the annual report for the year 2006-2007, while Treasurer and Vice-president Md Abdul Hannan Mia presented the financial reports of the Institute for the year 2006-2007.
Meanwhile, the 13th national council election 2007 was also held in the city recently. A total of twelve candidates have been declared elected as the council members for the term 2008-2010, the release added.
They are Md Ishaque, ABM Shamsuddin, Muzaffar Ahmed, Md Abdur Rashid, Md Abdul Aziz, Md Zahir Uddin Ahmed, Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, Abu Sayed Md Shaykhul Islam, AKM Delwer Hussain, Mohammed Salim, Md Jasim Uddin Akond and Arif Khan.
