ICMAB holds credit rating under BASEL-II workshop

A workshop on "Counterparty Credit Rating under BASEL-II: A Challenge for Finance Managers" organised by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) was held at ICMAB auditorium in the city Thursday.
The workshop was organised with a view to updating the knowledge of human resources in the bank management and to make them aware of modern corporate management and of the changing economy of the competitive world.
Credit Rating Information and Services Limited President and CEO Muzaffar Ahmed presented the technical paper in the workshop as the resource person while Vice President and acting President of ICMAB ABM Shamsuddin presided over the workshop.
Association of Bankers Bangladesh President and the City Bank Limited Managing Director Kazi Mahmood Sattar was present as the session chairman.
TOURE Operations Adviser of World Bank Dhaka office Mohammed Alhousseyni spoke on the occasion as the guest of honour and appreciated highly ICMAB's role in efficient human resources development.
ICMAB Secretary Abu Sayed Md Shykhul Islam and Md Mamunur Rashid, FCMA, also spoke, among others, on the occasion.
A large number of members of the institute and participants from different banks attended the workshop and took part in the floor discussion.
