ICS-BCL clash leaves five injured at BAU

MYMENSINGH, Aug 5 (UNB): Five activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) were injured in a clash with Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists at Bangladesh Agriculture University (BAU) campus Saturday night.
Witnesses said the clash ensued between the supporters of BCL and ICS activists of Bangabanhu Sheikh Mujib Hall at about 10:30pm following an altercation over a trifling matter at the dining room, leaving five injured.
Later, the ICS activists regr-ouped and ransacked four rooms.
On information, police and RAB personnel rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
A four-member committee has been formed Sunday morning to investigate the matter and was asked to submit its report within 48 hours.
