ICSB observes 12th anniversary of Chartered Secretaries Act

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) celebrated the 12th anniversary of the enactment of Chartered Secretaries Act, 2010 with a discussion on a virtual platform recently, says a press release.
The discussion session was moderated by Md Zahangir Alam Manik, a council member of ICSB.
In his speech, Md Zahangir paid respect to the then ICSB president Mohammad Asadullah and the members of his team who worked relentlessly to help enact the Chartered Secretaries Act, 2010.
Mohammad Asadullah, past president of the institute, in his speech, emphasised that it is high time to address other burning issues related to the chartered secretaries' professional development.
In the concluding speech, ICSB President Muzaffar Ahmed expressed the hope that the members would be more responsive in establishing the institute as a centre for professional skill development and corporate governance.
ICSB Treasurer Salim Ahmed, council members M Naseemul Hye, Md Sharif Hasan, Md Shafiqul Alam, and former council members NG Chakraborty, AKM Mushfiqur Rahman, and S Abdur Rashid also spoke.
