ICSMB holds AGM, Asad Ullah elected president

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Managers of Bangladesh (ICSMB) held its twelfth annual general meeting (AGM) in the city Saturday.brPresident of the institute Itrat Husain presided over the AGM, said a press release.brIn his address, the president highlighted the activities of the institute during the year 2007. He also recalled the struggles and finally the trump in achieving the coveted Chartered Secretaries Ordinance. brAt the AGM the president presented the Council Report for 2007, white Treasurer M Naseemut Hye placed the Audited Accounts and the Auditors' Report of the Institute for the year that ended on December 31, '07. brThe meeting was attended by a large number of members. Earlier, the members elected new office-bearers. brMohammad Asad Ullah was elected president of the institute, while Feroz I Faruque, Md Shahid Farooqui and M Naseemul Hye were elected senior vice president, vice president and treasurer respectively, the release added.
