ICT-1 indicts Ziaul Ahsan over enforced disappearances

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 on Wednesday framed charges in a case against former Army officer Ziaul Ahsna over his alleged involvement in enforced disappearances and more than a hundred killings, report agencies.
The three-member tribunal, headed by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Majumder, passed the order, scrapping a discharge petition filed for the accused. The tribunal also set February 8 for the prosecution to place its opening statement.
