ICT orders Sayeedi in jail until Dec 29

xThe International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Tuesday ordered the authorities concerned to keep Jama'at-e-Islami leader Delwar Hossain Sayeedi in prison until December 29, reports BSS.
The tribunal chairman Justice Nizamul Haque on hearing a petition filed by the investigation agency seeking issuance of arrest warrant against Sayeedi issued the order.
The petition stated that during investigation, evidence was collected against Sayeedi of his involvement in crimes against humanity during the War of Liberation in 1971.
However, the tribunal asked the authorities to submit a progress report on the investigation into his involvement in crimes against humanity during the War of Liberation.
