IDB president visits IUT

Islamic Development Bank (IDB) President Ahmad Mohamed Ali Friday visited the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC), reports UNB.
IUT Vice-Chancellor M Fazli Ilahi apprised him of the objectives and various activities of the university and progress made so far for the service of the Islamic Ummah.
The IDB president went round the campus and inspected the previous and ongoing IDB-funded projects of IUT. He also assured the IUT VC that he would do everything possible to help and patronise the university that has been rendering a remarkable service for the development of human resources of the OIC countries.
The IUT VC thanked him for continuous support from IDB for the development of infrastructure and laboratory facilities of the IUT.
