IDCOL to disburse working capital among software, ITES firms

IDCOL has set aside a fund to be disbursed as working capital loans among software and ITES companies through Trust Bank Ltd, IDLC Finance Ltd and ULC Ltd.
Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) Executive Director and CEO Ehsanul Haque disclosed this while speaking at the second monthly luncheon meeting of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) in the city Sunday.
Apart from the luncheon, BASIS also arranged a workshop on 'Working Capital Finance for Software & ITES Firms' in collaboration with IDCOL of Bangladesh.
In his address as the chief guest, Md Aminul Islam Bhuiyan, Secretary, ERD, Ministry of Finance and Chairman of IDCOL, appreciated the hard work put in by the IT entrepreneurs so far, and underscored the role of institutional financial support for the development of IT sector in Bangladesh.
Among others, Anis A. Khan, managing director of IDLC Finance, Mohammad Masoom, head of credit of Trust Bank Ltd, Rafiqul Islam Rowly, immediate past president of BASIS spoke on the occasion.
