Sunday, 30 March 2014

A labour organisation has prepared a draft list of workers who went missing after the collapse of Rana Plaza in April last year. The list compiled by ‘Bangladesh Garments Sromik Shonghoti’ has provided the full identities of 146 out of 183 missing workers who have been named. The leaders of the organisation have said it was gathering information on more missing workers. The labour body made seven demands while revealing the list at a press conference in the city. More than 1,100 lifeless bodies were pulled out of the debris while numerous survivors have been left maimed in the nine-storey Rana Plaza collapse at Savar on April 24, 2013, according to bdnews24.com.
