The IFC developed the software to help Ministry of Commerce in implementing a computerised system that would improve transparency, efficiency, and service quality at the RJSCF offices, said a press release.
About the project, Project Director at RJSCF Sheikh Md Mobarok Hossain said, "The new system will enable us to use resources more efficiently and increase our focus on customer service. We are grateful that IFC will continue working with us to support this effort and to identify areas for further reforms."
"This project is an important step in streamlining business registration processes in Bangladesh. In addition to helping entrepreneurs and the government carry out registration requirements more efficiently, the new system is expected to enhance transparency and corporate governance, as well as to help generate information useful for policy formulation," said General Manager for the IFC Advisory Services in South Asia Anil Sinha.
