Iffat Jahan gets Begum Rokeya Award

Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd's Policy and Claims Sub-Committee Chairperson Iffat Jahan has achieved 'Begum Rokeya Award 2008' for her remarkable contribution to the insurance industry of the country.
Former caretaker government adviser Sultana Kamal handed over the award to Nazia Kobir, who received the award on behalf of Iffat Jahan, at a programme held at the National Press Club organised by Weekly North Bengal Express recently.
She obtained her PhD from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She is now engaged as an associate professor at Kumdini Government College at Tangail.
