IFIC Bank approves dividends for four successive years

An emergency general meeting (EGM) of the shareholders of IFIC Bank was held at a city hotel Thursday.
The EGM was also followed by the 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th annual general meetings (AGMs) of the shareholders for the years 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 respectively.
Vice-chairman (VC) of the bank Mohammad Lutfar Rahman presided over the meetings, said a press release.
Managing Director (MD) Mashiur Rahman and members of the board of directors Abdul Hamid Chowdhury, Abu Tahir Mohammad Golam Maruf, Murshed Murad Ibrahim Aminur Rahman, Md Yasin Ali, Didarul Alam, Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, Tanim Noman Sattar, Mahmudul Huq Bhuiyan, Arastoo Khan and Mohammad Ali Khan were also present on the occasion.
A large number of shareholders attended the meetings.
The VC welcomed the shareholders and reviewed the performance and growth of the bank to date and assured the shareholders of undertaking more effective steps for further growth of the bank in the coming years.
The balance sheet and profit and loss accounts of the bank as on December 31, 2003, December 31, 2004, December 31, 2005 and December 31, 2006 were unanimously approved by the shareholders after detailed discussions on these accounts which also included the Director's Report from the year 2003 to 2006.
