IFIC Bank launches mobile banking

IFIC Bank Limited Monday launched the mobile banking services with an aim to offer various value-added financial services at the doorsteps of both banked and unbanked population. Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Mr. Abdul Latif Siddique and Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Atiur Rahman attended as Chief Guest and Special Guest respectively in the launching ceremony of IFIC Mobile Banking. Chairman of IFIC Bank Mr. Salman F Rahman, Chairman of Executive Committee of the Board Mr. Mohammad Lutfar Rahman and Managing Director of IFIC Bank Mr. Shah A Sarwar addressed the ceremony held at The Westin Hotel at Gulshan in the city. Eminent citizens, business leaders and other dignitaries were also present at the programme. Subscribers of Grameenphone, Banglalink and Airtel will be able to use the menu by dialing USSD short code of *255# after registration. Customers will be able to receive notification SMS after each successful transaction. Customer complaints and queries will be handled by dialing IFIC Contact Centre number 16255, according to a statement issued by IFIC Bank Ltd.
