IFIC Bank's half-yearly managers' confce held

The half-yearly managers' conference-2007 of the IFIC Bank Limited was held at a city hotel recently.
IFIC Bank Managing Director Mashiur Rahman inaugurated the conference and presided over it.
The main agenda of the conference was to review the performance of the branches and the achievement in the last six months.
A total of 65 branch managers and senior executives from its head office took part in the conference.
The managing director reviewed the detailed performance of the bank during the period under review.
He has expressed satisfaction over the growth of profit of the bank by 130 per cent as on June 30 last over the corresponding period of last year (2006).
He called upon the managers to identify the challenges with an action plan for achieving the corporate target set for the period upto December 2007.
For this, he also emphasised the need to gear up their activities more vigorously to perform better in the second half of the current year.
IFIC Bank DMD Mohammed Abdullah also addressed the conference and called upon the managers to explore the opportunities of sweeping changes, now taking place in the banking sector.
The focus point of the presentation by the DMD was analysis of results and way forward for achieving the goal.
Senior executives from the head office and branch managers of the bank also made deliberations on various issues of their respective areas of business.
There was a lively question-answer session in the conference between the managers and the top management.
The conference ended with the concluding speech by the managing director of the bank.
