Iftekhar Ahmed condoles death of peacekeeper

Adviser for Foreign Affaires Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury Friday expressed deep shock at the sad demise of Major Md Moshiur Rahman, who had been working in UN Peacekeeping Mission in Congo, reports BSS.
"I profoundly condole the death of the peacekeeper who died to establish peace in a distant land. Such people are our national heroes," Dr Iftekhar said in a condolence message.
The adviser conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
