Iftekhar condoles BRAC official's death in Kabul

Adviser for Foreign Affairs Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury condoled the death of BRAC official Abdul Alim in a shooting in Afghanistan, reports UNB.
In a message the adviser said Abdul Alim sacrificed his life for the cause of peace.
"He was not there to fight but to help the Afghan people change for the better. His killing was a heinous crime."
Chowdhury praised the efforts of the Bangladeshi NGOs in Afghanistan, working peacefully and selflessly to improve the quality of life of Afghan brothers and sisters. Each one of them is a soldier of peace.
The adviser prayed for the salvation of the soul of the deceased.
