IGLOO Sugar launched in market

IGLOO Sugar -- a merchandise of Abdul Monem Limited, the manufacturer of IGLOO Ice Cream and dairy milk, has been launched in the city Tuesday.
The premium refined sugar of IGLOO will now be available in the open market in retail pack all over the country. The one-kg packet of IGLOO Sugar will cost Tk. 41.00-42.00 while the 500-gm pack will cost Tk. 21.00-22.00.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman and Managing Director of Abdul Monem Limited Abdul Monem said, "Hopefully, Igloo Sugar will be just as much adored by the customers as its predecessor IGLOO Ice Cream".
"To ensure the purest quality for our sugar, we have decreased the ingredient colour significantly, but simultaneously it has increased the purity by 30 per cent," claimed G M Kamrul Hasan, head of marketing of IGLOO category. "This is the same sugar we use to produce our trademark ice cream," he added.
Up till now, IGLOO Sugar is being supplied commercially to brand names like KFC, Coca Cola and different pharmaceutical companies. Its sister concern IGLOO Ice Cream claims to share 70 per cent of the total market for ice cream in the country.
